Why Africans must Unite: AFRICA Helping AFRICA... The African Solidarity Conference will hold on February 1st, 2014, at the AUC in Addis Ababa, to discuss how we Africans must go beyond national boundaries to assist our brothers and sisters especially in post-conflict countries, with our money and skills. The earlier we realize that criticism may be useful, but must be followed by action, the faster our common search for better living conditions will be achieved. Please read the text in this picture and everywhere you see India, replace with Africa... then decide where you stand as an African. In my opinion, this is why a doctor in Ghana should willingly volunteer his holiday time in say the DRC to save lives. Or why a teacher in Togo should travel to South Sudan and help educate those young Sudanese trapped in circumstances beyond their making. We can all make a difference. A developed Africa will happen when Africans decide to make the change. Donors cannot continue to be persons from far off, nor should volunteers. We all have something to give to make Africa a better place. Let us act NOW!
