You will agree with me that no car manufacturer will take his time to manufacture a car just because he wants the car to exist. Similarly, you are not created for yourself. The creator created you first for himself then for you. How do I know this? The holy book spelt it out clearly Thou art worthy, O lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power. FOR THOU HAST CREATED ALL THINGS FOR THY PLEASURE, they are and were created. Rev 4:11. Permit me to say at this point that Gods ultimate goal for creating you is TO GIVE HIM PLEASURE. That your unique talent, inborn potential, intellectual capability, your well built physique, wealth etc are not for show off but to give pleasure to your maker. Anything contrary to this is an abuse. Score Point: you are not created fr yourself but to server Gods purpose which is to give him pleasure. Can God look at your dressing, motives, thoughts, imagination and actions and derive pleasure? Can he look at your friends and your secret life and derive pleasure? Can you say boldly and sincerely that you are serving his purpose? If yes congratulation, but if no, you are abusing divine product. Perhaps you never knew, now you know. Its never too late, you can still decide to start living a life that God will be proud of. Dont forget, you are not created for yourself but for your maker. Thats Gods broad objective. Good morning.
