Why Are You Looking For What You Already Have? And when He (Jesus) was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21 Many Christians are have the kingdom, but not accessing what the kingdom has to offer. • It is like having a key to a door but not entering. John the Baptist said: Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. We often pray: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 We are literally saying: I pray that your will in the earth will be the same as in heaven where You live Father God. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Righteousness: • Living the kind of life that is acceptable unto God. • Living a life filled with the purpose • Living a life filled with: integrity, virtue, purity and rightness • Living the kind of life where our thinking, feelings and the way we act conforms to the image of our Creator. • Right thinking will produce right living. Peace: • True peace only comes from the Prince of Peace. • Peace does not mean that everything around you is calm and free from agitations, disturbance, trials and tribulations; true peace means that you are able to remain peaceful during the storms of life. • Peace is when the world around us can see us living in harmony and peace towards each other. • Paul tells us, in Philippians 4:6-7, that we can have peace if we dont become anxious about life but instead give our worries to God: • Peace in the kingdom of God is: security, safety, prosperity peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous). • Peace, state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot, of whatsoever sort that is. • Hand over all of your problems to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, and He will give you a peace that passes understanding -- a peace that is beyond comprehension. Joy in the Holy Ghost: • Are you glad today to be a child of God? • Are you rejoicing in the Holy Ghost because of God’s grace, He decided to save us. • Are you glad because greater is He that is in you, then any challenge we will face in this world today. • Joy in the Holy Ghost, being Spirit led, thank you Holy Spirit for guiding what we feel, teaching us and reminding us of God’s Word, and for given us wisdom to make the righteous choices, thank you for governing our soul. • Nehemiah 8:10 says: for the joy of the LORD is your strength! “The Kingdom of God is in You!”
