Why I am angry and frustrated and I guess revolting [!] in my own - TopicsExpress

Why I am angry and frustrated and I guess revolting [!] in my own way... It is because we are supposed to be led by the best of us. Those that have shown that they deserve the faith that we put in them. Those that serve the people. The weak. The old. The deserving. Those that have less opportunity. Less ability. Less power. However we have put in power the colluded, the manipulative, the liars, the servants of institutions bent against us as free spirits. We have to fight against our elected representatives to defend our communities, our rights, our freedom and our environments. There is something rotten in our social construct, that the divisions we are allowed to bicker about do nothing to empower us. Profit over people. Lobby groups. Free markets. Trade deals. Globalisation and corporeal power. There is nothing supportive of individualism. No care for the creative unless it serves the madness. We are not being led by the best of us. We are being led by madmen. Bought by the power of money and fame. Giddy with wealth fantasy. Casting aside all compassion, all empathy, looking right at the lens of cultural projection and belief and lying. Lying over and over again. And it is allowed, because we accept the deception, because we would rather not look at the horror we have created. We are asked to pedal faster, to support a system that is broken. Trickle down economics is a fallacy. Capitalism is a carrot on a stick that creates division and strengthens class systems. Family, mortgage, business responsibility, debts and a miriad of other cultural expectations are the conservative model that makes us complicit. walking away from a system, even one thats obviously broken is a scarey concept, but we need to take a bold step into the unknown, trust that we deserve better and that there is a better way ahead. If you read this far, thanks x
