Why I vouch to support Ambassador George Manneh Weah in whatever political quest he deems or reckons necessary: Manneh: “GOD’S Chosen Face of Liberia” Folks, it is about time we revisit to peruse the past records of those who are desirous of taking up leadership in our Nation. Including someone who has been there and passionately as well as single-mindedly sacrificed his hard and honestly earned fortunate and wellbeing in identifying with his people unconditionally; when the so-called self-acclaimed philanthropists of today could nowhere be seen or heard of. This is why we shouldn’t allow these double-minded so-called philanthropists who have now come- now that the playing field is already prepared to cajole us in falling prey to them; hurtfully, when these so-called and double-minded free-givers are using our “own money/resources” to stage managed projects and donations in the name of their philanthropic gesture to the Liberian people, whom they have intentionally strangulated and deprived of what is their entitlement for far so long. For far too long, we (Liberians) have been deceived by parents of these double-minded people; thankfully, the Liberian Society has become politically knowledgeable by the day and won’t be cajoled by any political lies and deceptions anymore. Today, I vouch to speak about someone though hails from the ordinary grassroots majority of Liberia, is locally as well as internationally acclaimed for his self-less and single-minded identity with his Brethren (Country) and admirably single-handedly created a positive Image of this Country when only bad and war-published images and news were associated with Liberia. Ambassador George Manneh Weah is a Liberian who has carved an enviable niche for himself by dint of his reference and reliance on GOD; humanly by his own effort and has the track records of unilaterally standing tall and firm during the dark days of Liberia when our dear Country was caught up in the Web of Vicissitudes; something which remains an ineffaceable Etch in the records (past, present and future), of this great Nation and no frivolous and or belly-driven politician can ever erase and or blemish as his detractors often unsuccessfully attempt. I am tirelessly proud without any closed or known affiliation to speak for someone who hasn’t lounged or basked in the impugned parental legacy or bequest which could have propelled his acclaimed local and international recognition and prominence like what we are seeing today from others. Weah is such an unassuming, inconspicuous and unobtrusive Personality who despite his astute prominence, would invariably recognize, respect and remain a part of where he comes from “the Grass Roots” or “the Ordinary Majority” of the Liberian society. His heartfelt, unflinching and zealous desire to give back to Liberia has never been quizzed, rather it is always unconditional and as seen from one political dispensation to another and this is a track record of a true and self-less patriot. Weah doesn’t need a stage managed ceremony or program for political gimmick, Weah by Himself is a program and a Patriotic Face of Mama Liberia. Ambassador George Manneh Weah is a self-accomplished and must be admired as such. I need not remind us about events that have shot him into the limelight that his detractors are wasting their breath trying to dim, I will be more than willing to lead or join any campaign to accord him all the recognition he deserves. Weah is a self-made and true Liberian. Hence, I am not surprised about claims from those few frivolous and despicable detractors, though clustered with their own image-impairment from their sordid doings amidst their conviction that Weah is a gargantuan impediment to their political ambition, would do everything preposterous or comical to bring His Great and Credible Image to public caricature which to their (few contractors) political consternation, trepidation and bewilderment, is yielding no envisaged result.
