Why McGinn and Conlin lost the Election. Do you have another answer? Share with us McGinn lost because he pissed off many Social justice/ progressive voters who supported him last election. He advocated and supported anti working class bills - regulatry reform bill, Increasing car tab fee, higher parking fees, not to mention his pro-developers passion. Richard Conlin has misread the voters intelligence by paying a lot of money to PR firm to do all the work for him ( Malahan Scenario), and never done any ground work campaign, where as his challanger Dr Sister Comarde Socialist Honorable Council Woman Kshama Sawant was working hard on the ground. She reached out to the public, and told them why she wanted to be a city council member. Her message was very convincing, and believable. She brought the community of color, immigrants, leftists, and the hippists into a one voting block - something that McGinn did last election, but failed to do it again this year. Sawant must be voted for the person of the year in Seattle, i hope everyone will agree with me on this.
