Why PDP in Ondo State demanding that a monumental project like OSUSTECH, Fiwasaye-Agbogbo Road or Ondo Road be named after Dr Olusegun Agagu? With all due respect to the departed, I think this is uncalled for.i cannot recall the PDP of those years extending the same largesse to anyone except Rufus Giwa, whose contributions to Ondo State to warrant the naming of RUGIPO after him remains to be seen. As it was just a political decision then to spite Chief Ade Adefarati, it was not surprising then that the students of the then OSPO took to the streets to protest the decision. And talking of Chief Ade Adefarati, what did the Agagu-led administration name after him? And was it not the same administration that prevented AAU from giving the late Gani Fawehinmi a honourary Ph.D degree. What goes around, comes around. While I think our PDP bigwigs should allow Agagu to RIP, they should let the people decide if Dr Olusegun Agagu truly deserves this.
