Why We Need another Muslim Organization On the Diaspora? Badr Ethiopia has been the sole representative of diaspora Ethiopian Muslims. It was leading a peaceful struggle including to get the release of imprisoned brothers. I am wondering why we need another organization unless Badr is part of this restructuring- (we have not heard any communication from Badr- I assume Badr has no part). It seems to me that some people among us are plotting to disintegrate the diaspora community of Ethiopian Muslims, as I have not heard the need for another organization. It’s obvious to everyone that the split of community will make that community weaker in terms of finance and voice. The enemy will take advantage of this and will work to widen the difference that might lead to open confrontation and long term animosity. I make Dua to give our leaders wisdom, selflessness and far- sightedness that will enable them to come and work together for the sake of the umma. I believe we all are trying to help our umma.
