Why? We have all asked God this one word question. Sometimes there is no earthly answer. So God is silent. It doesnt mean that He does not care. No. His heart is touched by our grief and pain. But maybe we are asking the wrong question. Maybe the question should be What?. What should I do now? What could I learn from this? What must my next step be? What is the right way to react? What could I do to help someone else going through this? It has been my experience that you are more likely to get an answer to What? than Why? When God is silent and you dont understand, take His Hand. Like a Loving Father He reaches out a Strong Hand to His hurting child. Trust the Hand to lead you from the darkness of Why to the light of What. Hold on to the Hand, especially when you cant understand. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3,56). Do good today.
