Why am I growing fond of this damn Christmas season? I am usually the Grinch of Christmas everything! Christmas music usually annoys the snot out of me 🎉. All the Santa hype is all a fake front that takes from the true meaning of Christmas 🎅. The decorations are usually a pain to put up and half the time look tacky and over done 🎄. The weather is too damn cold for me to feel jolly and Christmas cheer ❄️. Snow men usually get knocked down or melt ⛄️. I gain weight like crazy because all of the food that is to be eaten and never to be wasted 🍗🍤🍻🍸🍰🍪🎂🍩🍬🍭. I cant ski 🎿 or snowboard🏂, I wouldnt enjoy those kind of sports anyway. The Christians story of baby Jesus gets a little to redundant for me 🎆. And finally presents and materialistic nonsense have become too much of an important priority🎁💝. However this year things seem to be different because instead of falling into the mainstream of Christmas bullshit I am seeing it as an opportunity to just gather with the people that you love and you care about regardless of who got what under the tree and who made the best appetizers. Christmas is just a good time to enjoy another moment of laughter and genuine happiness with the people who mean the most to you. Because you dont know if that will be your last memory with them or not. Christmas is just another great memory that will last a lifetime. A memory is something that money cant buy, is something that cant be wrapped up and shoved under a tree, a memory is something that you cant put in your slow cooker over night and bake at 375 degrees. No that is a memory to cherish and will forever be priceless.❤️ so this Christmas just remember it is about who is around the tree and not what is under it. It is about the memories to be made and the love to be shared.💕 so embrace your family and loved ones this year. Show them your love physically and not just materialistically because it is a lot more unforgettable then most things to be offered within the Christmas season. 🎄💝
