Why am i about to go off, in public, on facebook about the Lions???? Because im sick of Failure in the high pressure moments!!! Man...we have to overcome the Leagues Golden Boy treatment AND the other team...If the Lions want to be champions that is the path they MUST travel...decades of failure in the crucible has planted the seed of inability into the psyche of most Lions fans...as if even in victory the fans r just waiting for the real Lions to show up and eff-it-all-up...and God knows that there r countless examples in the history of the Lions that support this belief... Additionally, our incompetence in the cauldron of elite competition has the league and the rest if the country believing this too... So why does that matter? (I think i can speak for all Lions fans when i say this) It matters because we r deeply invested emotionally in to the Lions. We want to believe they can overcome the refs, the perceptions, the years of failure, the old beliefs based on historical evidence...we want them to show us that they can do it so we can believe that WE can do it! Its HOPE! We want them to win in the pressure moments to show us that its possible for US to overcome...EVERYTHING! But they cant...they simply CAN NOT! So what must we do to get what we want? We have to change the paradigm....Apparently WE MUST SHOW THEM!!! We have to change them! In conclusion, WE ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!! Go Lions, WE BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!!!...............................................now prove us right!!!
