Why are more soldiers dying at home than on the battlefield??? With todays technology of drones, stealth bombers, etc. We dont nor shouldnt need as many soldiers as we have on the battle field. Not only are they in harms way but, at risk of being a casualty or fatality whether it is back on home ground with PTSD, depression, combat fatigue, or losing a limb on the battle field. We (yes, I am a veteran soldier as well) are fully aware that we are signing the dotted line to give our life for our country, for your safety & freedom on our land...And we are so proud we are able to do that for you & make a better difference. We deploy overseas so you do not have to live in fear of another country-terrorists invading U.S. soil. (The only terrorists that were able to invade our land was set-up & allowed by corrupt politicians.) We have the most strong hearted military in the world. Not to mention the greatest (high-tech) security system as well. No offense, but a majority of you take that soldiers time & life for granted. Your freedom is not free it is given at a cost of soldiers sacrifice of life. Could you imagine living in the middle east? You would fear for your life & safety everyday. People drive or walk to work with bullet proof vests on (if they are rich enough to afford one) & they are lucky to come home to a house that has not been invaded or bombed. However, when we sign our name on the dotted line to give our life for the American way of life (Freedom & the pursuit of happiness) they never tell us that we may be used for medical experimentation with non-FDA approved vaccinations, meds, etc. And that we may end up having to give our life that way and/or on the battle field...(They also will never admit to that.) The proof is in the pudding ;) They also promise us health care for the rest of our lives. And there are military-VA hospitals however, they do not always provide the greatest health care. It is also almost ever, given in a timely manner. Thousands have died waiting to just get an appointment with a physician. Truthfully they make it complicated & not easy for a veteran soldier to receive benefits they were promised. Why??? Well, because a corrupt-a$$ politician says these things to the media so you vote for them. And maybe they do actually make it happen but, they do not highly advertise all the benefits veterans may receive. And, the process-paperwork to get the benefits (health care, schooling, etc.) earned is brutal. They make it hard because if you actually are able use the benefits it costs them money. And thats money they could use for their campaign, chauffeured limos, security (by soldiers, of course) six-figure incomes-pensions, etc. Who gives a sh!t about a soldier... They signed their life on that dotted line to die anyway, right??? Maybe thats why so many of them are taking their own lives. Nobody seems to care they way they did about you... And not just our country but, the worlds right to live with their God-given (or whomever/whatever you believe in; The Universe, Source, energy, etc.) free will & in a democracy. Its about time you stand for them as they did for you. It would be appreciated more than you know, as you would have a chance to save their lives as they did yours. Think about it. Freedom is NOT free. A soldier gave their life for your free-will at least on American soil...
