Why are we not investing or seeking investing and returns on these new technologies. It is time the Caribbean gets real about hemp.. I would suggest a dynamic mix of hemp and sugar cane... Yes.. I said sugar cane for its by products.. I would use the bagasse and hemp to create paper. I would put a ban or increase tax on styrofoam that does nothing for my environment and force the consumption and production to go green. A thriving industry can be created in product containers from bagasse, cooking utensils, paper and board. Therefore limiting the dependence on imports. How do we seek investment??? Owning part of something is better than owning all.. Look East.. India, China and Further East.. Government should create the framework and allow the market to evolve.
