Why cant our news channels cover , at least occasionally, stories that are inspirational and motivating to the viewers and which showcase stories of courage, resilience and resolve of our country men and their innate goodness instead of focusing ad nauseam on the sensational and sleazy, that too, day in and day out, which make for such depressing viewing? Take for instance, The 24/7 coverage that crimes, criminals, fraudsters et al receive in our media : it is nauseating really! Is it really necessary to make them the sole talking point of the day?
