Why do Canadians come to the US for health care if national health care is so great? Well, theyre not going to come much longer. Its just one case, but it is typical. A woman had symptoms of a colon problem but could not get an appointment, in Canada, for six months for a colonoscopy. Finally, when she got her appointment she was diagnosed with precancerous polyps in her colon, but could not get treatment for another six months. By the time she got tot he next stage of treatment they had metastasized and she died six weeks later. Here, in the US, we are moving from a system where treatment is within a couple of weeks to the Canadian style health care. But, the good news is that we will get free colonoscopies so this way we will know ahead of time that we are about to die. National health care gives us a bunch of free stuff which is meaningless when we cant get treatment. National health care will lead to long waiting lines for care and rationed care for certain age groups. Those would be the older age groups because older people are expensive to maintain. Win-win as long as you are under 55. Now, does anyone remember the movie, Logans Run? There people were terminated after age 35. We are moving in that direction. Most of the people reading this would be eliminated by this time if these trends are allowed to persist. There is no point in doing research to prolong life as long as the practice is to terminate one after age 35. The good news is that Hilary Clintons of the world would have been eliminated before they had time to do so much damage and no one would qualify to be President.
