Why do people continue to try and fit eternal truths into a time space framework? They will never fit. Jesus IS the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. yet in the physical experience of man it occurred on a specific day almost 2000 years ago. The flow of the effects of that event were just as available to Adam and all who followed as to us because it was an event that occurred in the eternal realm. Likewise with salvation. The eternal event was established before creation yet we individually must pass through the experience at a particular point in time and space. If we avoid that point, which is multidimentional and can occur at any time or place, then the eternal event is not connected to the individual. The connection is by faith in the eternal event of the cross. In other words believing that what Jesus did applies to us. That act of belief on a personal level is the door into the eternal realm that makes the connection.
