Why do so many think that the US government (aka taxpayers) are responsible to take care of them and the children they could not afford to have? I am proud to be from many, many generations of taxpayers not tax receivers. The Acadians (Cajuns) are a proud people who were exiled and mistreated......there are few of us who have depended upon Uncle Sam to live day to day. Yes our ancestors pulled themselves up from their bootstraps and we are expected to do the same. Every race and creed has been through a difficult mistreating time....get over it and take care of yourself and your own!!!!!!!! God bless the descendants of the Acadian people.
