Why do some people get so much joy & pleasure in beating someone - TopicsExpress

Why do some people get so much joy & pleasure in beating someone down emotionally until that person feels like theyre a horrible person? I dont understand why it makes them feel like such a good person to beat someone down that low. They know what buttons to push & just what to say to hurt you the most & dont care how much they hurt you cause through it all they feel like theyre the better person. They say anything & everything to beat you down & make you feel worse than the dirt on the ground. But see nothing wrong with what theyre doing. If i wanted to i could do the same thing back to them but im going to be the better person & not come down to their level. Eventhough im so hurt, i will not be that low of a person. God give me strength.
