Why do some ppl always ask for a bag of unnecessary windows and extra rooms to show a sense of upward status in JA? It’s just so ridiculous. How can you have a vision and not fully consider the local context? What shapes the aesthetic qualities of a building ought to be dictated not by what you only like but by functional norms which incorporate varied socio economic conditions, culture and environment. Every move ought to serve a justified purpose not just look attractive it needs to also be supported by structure.
