Why does Robert De Niro keep making poor films now? I think he just doesnt give a shit any more. He was great in Goodfellas, but by the time of Casino, he was already playing his roles by the numbers. Perhaps the problem is that, after his wonderfully droll turn in Midnight Run, he was persuaded that he could do comedy, with the disastrous results we have come to expect now. His agent needs to go.....NOW!
