Why does this matter? Not because we are jealous of the wealth of others - but because we do not want the wealthy buying our democracy - which is exactly what the most wealthy have been doing for about 30 years! Tax Like Its 1955. Look it up. It works. Tax gives incentives and guidance on how to use the money you have, especially for the rich. Tax so that the rich spend their money on other things than Congress. Wealth inequality gives the rich so much left over that they can enjoy their lives and buy more tax breaks and any laws that benefit them that they want. THAT is why wealth inequality matters. Spell it out for the slow folks. They think "wealth inequality" critics are just jealous of the rich. They are missing the obvious.
