Why is Mahama and the NDC so afraid to lose power? What are they - TopicsExpress

Why is Mahama and the NDC so afraid to lose power? What are they trying hard to conceal from Ghanaians? Have they done something that they are afraid that when they lose power will be exposed? During the 2012 elections, the NDC ran more than 50 advertisements running down the free SHS policy proposed by the NPP. According to them the quality needs to improve first before it can be made free. They further claimed that education can only be made free after 2020 when they have built enough SHS and improve the quality of the existing ones. They promised building 200 community senior high schools within their four years when they are voted into power. They promised building 50 every year. Its almost two years and I believe they have built almost 100 schools. If after two years all the major promises made during the 2012 campaign have not been honored, then why are they eager and frustrated to implement free shs in an election year? Have they been able to improve the quality? Have they built the 50 schools promised each year? Have they eradicated all the schools under trees? Have they been able to make basic schools free? Have they trained and provided enough teachers? Ghanaians should not take this government serious. They have failed and they need to go. This free shs will not end anywhere. It will just add up to their numerous failures; GYEEDA, SADA, SUBAH, etc. Its just a mere propaganda attempting to woo people to vote for them. Statutory funds such as Capitation grants and GETFUND are yet to be paid and theyre claiming they want to make shs free. What do they take us for? Giving promises upon promises and yet promising not to promise again. What is so funny about this government is that they have increased school fees when they intend making it free next year. This should tell every reasonable being that this government is not serious about the welfare of the people. They are only interested in winning elections to enrich themselves. Come 2016 we need to rise in our numbers and show them the exit. Michael Adu,Young Patriots
