Why is it I dont get to work my own horses until the days are short and cold? lol-- Well, if you could see me now, youd see a WIDE grin on my face! Ive not been on Faith since early this spring, so I was basically dreading getting her back out. I worked her in the roudpen a little, then got on to see what she remembers, and she did AWESOME! When I stopped riding her this spring she was having anxiety attacks during our rides, then I had her teeth floated, but it didnt seem to help at the time. Perhaps with that and the few months off have made a difference? Im hoping so-- too early to tell for sure, but todays ride sure was a good start! :)
