Why is it every time a new Codemasters racing game comes out, half the community act like someones just shot their cat in front of them? Yes, people got preview builds early. Its common place in the industry. Get over it. These developers owe us NOTHING, and if anything, many of us take it for freaking granted. Id hate for us all to be in a situation like Sonys with Gran Turismo, where we get NOTHING. No community interaction, barely any news, and we just have to accept it. I dont think many of us understand just how lucky we are that a developer genuinely thinks of people supporting their game and franchises. And I get it because Ive been on both sides of the fence. When you have a nature of Lets criticise this game from almost every angle, ripping it from every angle for the sake of it, why should you get anything? And Im sorry, theyre a business, if you have 6 subscribers, then they gain nothing from sending you anything. (Its why I dont do Subscriber based episodes of Around The Corner, because what do I gain out of it? I see myself as a brand too.) You dont have to be a kiss-up to get there. Be civil, be polite, have some respect, and Im sure thats half the battle. We content creators, represent a LOT of people, and as much as thats a blessing, and as much as I hate quoting that god awful Green Lantern movie with Ryan Reynolds: With great power, comes great responsibility.
