Why is it so difficult for people to understand theyre, there, and their, your, youre, too, to, and two, this is NOT rocket science, people. It is a very simple act of intellect, and it is imperative to professionalism. If I am a superior, and you apply for a promotion and I see these kinds of mistakes consistently in your writings, I would not give you the position. Honest to god. It would tell me that youre not attentive to detail or educated enough to lead anything or anyone. I can tolerate a lot of old school no-no type things in a workplace. Tattoos below the sleeve, with the exception of business to business interaction, Im fine with. I can deal with casual dress codes, no problem. But your writing, speaking, and dress habits need to be up to par. You didnt seen them yesterday, you saw them, you didnt kilt it, you gently killed it, for PR purposes. ALSO, AINT IS NOT A WORD. I will say it just speaking to friends and family, it never leaves my lips in an email, speaking to my boss, a customer, etc. Oh, and IRON YOUR SHIRT. IT TAKES FIVE MINUTES!!! Stop being nasty at work. Be professional. Theres nothing that turns me off as a consumer as badly as unprofessional behavior. Rant over. Drives me up a wall. Sorry. Needed to vent.
