Why is it that nearly everyone today wants to promote their ministry by criticizing others? Why must young/fledgling pastors devalue nearly everything the previous generation of pastors has done? We need to stop this. Just talk about what God is calling you to do without judging the call on others lives. Its such a divisive spirit running rampant in the church. You feel the worship experience should be shorter? The do your shorter service! You say short services dont leave room for the Spirit to move? Then church til you get satisfied. But keep your mouths off each other. Just do you while respecting the rights, needs, and expressions of worship for others in the body. Dress like you want to dress. Praise as you feel appropriate. Preach with or without a whoop. None of that is really divine revelation to you anyway. Its a matter of your taste, experience, tolerances and desire for expression. Dont turn your personal preferences into doctrinal dogma. Men & women of God, stop doing damage to the Kingdom with your marketing strategy for your ministry. Jesus is not coming back for your ministry. Hes coming back for His church. The text says a church, an indication of a unified body. For the contributions I have made to this destructive practice, I repent and recommit myself to fostering unity in the Body. I am Bishop James Williams and I support this message.
