Why is it that the established governments of the world keep giving legitimacy to aggressive forces around the world that have not conquered a geographic area and attained the legitimacy of a formal country? I am sick and tired of the idea of using political sanctions against a rebel, criminal, or terrorist organization/force. If an ally asks for help in quelling a rebellion or repulsing an invasion, a country should get something for the aide. This may be as simple as to have an ally in the region, or as complex as having treaties signed laying out what they get when they win. Oh, and dont forget that folks raised in other areas and under other variations of religion have different morals, scruples, ideology, and values. Trying to judge them by or projecting our standards onto them is not unlike us doing the same to a wild animal. It may seem to fit until suddenly, out of nowhere, a savage attack occurs.
