Why is it that when Jewish people speak of the experiences in their Holocaust the world listens with a quiet sincere reverence ( as should be) but when black people talk about the horrifying facts of our experience as property (CHATTEL) (SLAVES) and the continued mistreatment that we fact on a daily basis in America and around the world. We are demised as lazy shiftless wieners who are looking for an excuse to get a hand out or get out of working to care our families like every one else. I personally have no problem with the Jewish people keeping the memory of their Holocaust reality alive as a reminder of what took place in their history. So why does everyone have such a problem with recognizing the African American Holocaust or the American Indian Holocaust affording us the same respect and empathy that others are so readily given without issue. African Americans are not immigrants in this country we are the decedents of captives brought here for the purpose of free labor. Til this day we are without any real status of equity, not as first class, not as second class, or even as third class citizenship. We live taxed without representation, judged without justice, terrified without protection, marginalized without consideration, and scoffed at when seeking acceptance. The truth is its own proof!
