Why is there so much news on Marrisa Mayer in every tech blog/portal I visit? Agreed she is supposed to be the one who conceptualized the current product management at Google but Yahoo is still Yahoo ... nothing changed.. the rise in the stock price is primarily for two reasons 1- Alibaba 2- Also the good will generated .. and optimism associated with the joining of Mayer.. I am sure.. Mayer is one of good things that has happened to Yahoo in the recent times.. but they are still confused whether they are the Tech company or the media company, the products they have are still not moving with time.. :) .. hiring Mayer has not changed that yet.. but I guess becoming a tech company makes more sense.. especially with hiring Mayer as the CEO.
