Why its unfair to blame Messi for Argentinas failure: 1. He scored more than half their tournament goals. 2. He single handedly took them to the knockout stages. 3. Higuan failed to convert a gifted goal that would have won the match 4. Palacio failed to score when scoring was easier than missing. 5. Aguerro was a huge flop. 6. Goetze was left unmarked when it mattered most 7. Argentina is a team of stars most of who ply their trade in Europes top leagues, so why heap the blame on Messi?
