Why must we stereotype the people we see? Its everywhere in the world nowadays we are passing judgement on people based on the house they live in, the clothes they wear, the music they listen to, their weight, their color, their religion, how much money they have, you get the idea. Im as guilty of this as the next guy but today I realized a popular quote: Dont judge a book by its cover. I was grocery shopping and I watched people roll their eyes at people less fortunate then themselves and I realized these people didnt know each other they had just crossed paths. Then I thought about how our world that we live in teaches us to act this way. Afterall how many of you have jobs that require dress codes, schools are the same we are all taught to act and dress in a certain fashion or we will be labeled as not appropriate. On the way out the store I seen an argument between a guy and a couple about scratching there car with the cart by accident. The couple was your typical stuck up well off family and the guy was clearly not as well off. I scratched my head and thought about the saying the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Then I was reminded of the 19th chapter of Matthew where Jesus is talking with the disciples about eternal life. Moral of the story is everyone is striving for more and more in life but when will it be enough? Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. All major religions agree on one thing, there will be an end to the world, are you ready?
