Why not maintain schools? Simple really. Hire contractors to go into the schools on weekends & FIX what ever needs to be done, year round. So we dont scramble around each vacation to change ceilings, re build drains & overhaul toilets. Maintenance is a serious problem in this place. We love ah build over. Check Whitehall, left to rot (not even a security guard on the premises) for years after is millions of we money was spent. They going and REDO that one sometime this century @ great cost again. I doh know if you agree with me, but this Minister of Education, despite being a medical doctor, sounds so uneducated sometimes! Busy putting plaster on sores when youd expect him of all people, to acknowledge prevention is better than cure & put things in place. No word on dat, plenty grammatically incorrect words though. I cringe, me with my 5 o levels.
