Why on earth is it that every time England fails it is Rooneys fault? Even when he is selected to play assistant to the main striker, Rooney takes the blame for shortage of goals, although he played his part in setting up their only goal. The defenders make a meal of a cross and it is Rooney that is questioned. Who the hell are you people? Why dont you get off Rooneys back and find another sport to follow, cause it is obvious that you dont have a clue of what football is all about. Instead of blaming Rooney for Englands woes, why dont we take a look at the Barclays Premier League instead. The Champions provide Joe Hart and James Milner(reserve at both City and England). Liverpool has Gerrard, Johnson, Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge and Lambert which is fair. Chelsea has Cahill and Lampard. Arsenal has Wilshere and Ox. Thats the top for in England providing a total of 12 players out of 23. The rest of the squad is made up of players from mostly 5th to 7th place in the Premier league with United providing the biggest contingent in Rooney, Welbeck, Jones and Smalling. Thats more the 3 teams in the top four. The English league is littered with foreign talent and pushing homegrown players to the sidelines, hitting the Three Lions the hardest at International Tournaments. In short, what has all the above got to do with Rooney?
