Why should actors watch nominated films (not just for acting)? Because these films will be copied, be ripped off, similar films made and roles written based on the characters in nominated films. The Parrot effect is very real. These will be the roles you are auditioning for in lower budget films, perhaps in high budget films, for video and web over the next year to three years. So see as many as you can.
