Why spend just one day with family and friends? Instead of buying stuff you think you need or others would want tomorrow, spend one more day with those you love. Its just stuff. Stuff the stores are so good at making you feel you have to have. Stuff thats probably forgotten about by next year. Stuff that technology will replace in 18 months. Try and rationalize it all you want but you have been brainwashed. If your house was burning down would you run in for your iPad or your toddler? Its just stuff. Kids really want YOU to play with them at the end of the day. You can do that with a few wooden spoon and plastic containers. Its the bond and memories they want, not the stuff. Dont waste your time and money on stuff tomorrow. Instead, invest your heart and soul on those that are still with you. What so many of us wouldnt give for an extra day with the ones we love that are no longer with us. I dont think any of us wish for more stuff...For those of you that still have healthy children, awesome parents, fun siblings, laugh out loud girlfriends and best friend spouses, tomorrow should be with them. Not mosh pitting with strangers in a battle for the last one. The stuff will always be there. Our loved ones may not. Please, for those of us that wish we could, take tomorrow not to shop but to make more memories, just skip the stuff. The memories are what last a lifetime. Not the stuff.
