The Government of India shall take steps to establish institutions of national importance in the 12th and 13th Plan periods in the successor State of Andhra Pradesh. This would include one IIT, one NIT, one IIM, one IISER, one Central University, one Petroleum University, one Agricultural University and one IIIT. 2. The Government of India shall establish one AIIMS-type Super-Specialty Hospitalcum- Teaching Institution in the successor State of Andhra Pradesh. 3. The Government of India shall establish a Tribal University each in the State of Andhra Pradesh and in the State of Telangana. 4. A Horticulture University shall be established in the successor State of Telangana. 5. The Government of India shall establish the National Institute of Disaster Management in the successor State of Andhra Pradesh.
