Why the outrage over this event, and so little about Black on Black crime? Perhaps, because the Black on Black crime is acknowledged and (over)reported(exaggerated), whereas the Cops on Black crime continues to be denied, excused, etc? Or maybe it has to due with the incredible unfair advantage of police (and whites) over poor black communities, the hundreds of years of slavery, jim crow, segregation, the prison pipe-line, social and chemical experiments, scapegoating, forced sterilizations of women, institutional oppression, financial disenfranchisement, etc, etc, etc... Perhaps its especially insulting and enraging when not only can you NOT effectively fight back within the rules as given, but the very fact of the crimes against are systematically denied by post-racial America. I dont know of anyone, Black or White, that denies the existence of Black on Black crime. In fact, the news media and police departments seem to be constantly shouting it (and exaggerating it) from the rooftops, so its kinda hard to deny. How often do you hear the term White on White crime? Its at 84%, btw.
