Why we built okete? The goal of okete is to allow businesses to build more direct exposure and represent themselves online without the complexities of linkedIn and Facebook, although they are useful tools, the day to day interaction with partners its non existent... its always people that participate in social networks and they bring the business along, if you close your personal account in facebook or linkedin, all the business related exposure is gone... So you become a prisoner of social media, in some cases they say that you can transfer ownership, of business related information, but you really do not own it... It belongs to facebook and linkedIn.
