Why wont you respond to any of the residents of the existing neighborhood (the one you keep referring to in press accounts as a wasteland?) who have endured 24/ explosions, pile-driving and high-decibel construction noise for the past year and a half? All were asking is that you limit work to normal daylight hours, and install soundproof windows on surrounding residential apartment buildings. At $1,500 per window (Cityproof), thats no more than a rounding error in your budget. Steve Ross got a $328 million tax break. Why arent you willing to share some of this largesse with the people whose lives youre destroying with your private, for-profit project?
