Why would Christ handle our burdens? Because He loves us and doesn’t want us living in bondage. His invitation is given out of love, and we never have to fear coming to Him.That’s who He is; that’s how He operates—He loves us no matter who we are or what we’ve done. Psalm 55:22 instructs,“Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you.” God will energize, encourage, motivate, and equip us as an expression of His love for us. When He bears our load, we don’t have to worry about it. There is nothing that He cannot handle-no pressure so heavy that He cannot lift it off our shoulders. He daily enables us to live with our burdens without feeling the weight of them.
