Why would God divide the light from darkness after He saw it was good? God right from the beginning started His process of purification right from the very first Words He uttered, "Let there be light". Jesus in John 12:46 says " I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness." This gives or tells us how a Christian ought to walk and live. We cannot abide in darkness and be sons and daughters of the LIGHT, it will be a big contrast to His Divine nature. Only when one walks in the Light he/she is able to lead someone out of darkness. Darkness cannot reveal darkness, but only Light can reveal darkness. As Jesus said in Mathew 5:14-16 " “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." With this I pray God will give us more courage, boldness and sound mind in this Christian living. We must shine for His Glory!!!.
