Wickenburg Police and Wickenburg Lions Club to collaborate on Fill A Cruiser-Feed A Family Food Drive On December 19, 2014, from 9am to 3pm, the Wickenburg Police Department and the Wickenburg Lions Club will work together on a Fill A Cruiser-Feed A Family Food Drive. The Fill A Cruiser-Feed A Family event will take place at Safeway at 1999 W. Wickenburg Way in Wickenburg. Police personnel will volunteer their time to assist with this event. Wickenburg Lions Club members will be on hand to assist with donations. All donations will benefit regional Wickenburg families through the Community Action Program (CAP) Office in Wickenburg. Safeway will set aside pre-bagged items of particular need to the CAP Office to make food donations easy for shoppers. Cash donations will be accepted by volunteers. The goal of this program is to fill a police cruiser with donated items. The following items are of particular need at this time of year at the CAP Office: Peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, pre-boxed macaroni and cheese, canned soups and stews, oatmeal and breakfast cereal.
