Wifey!!! Casey Ayer-- here is the copycat zuppa toscano soup receipe. prep time-20 minutes cook time--1 hour 1lb Italian sausage 2 large Russet Baking potatoes {cut in half and then in 1/4 slices} 1 Large onion {chopped} 2garlic cloves 2 cups kale or swiss chard{ I did baby spinich instead} 2 8 ounce cans of chicken broth 1 quart water 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup Bacon bits Directions- chop or slice uncook sauage in small pieces and brown in soup pot. add chicken broth and water to pot , stir to mix. place onions, potatoes and garlic in seprate pot, cook on medium heat until potatoes are cooked {golden brown} add sauage and bacon in the soup pot with the water and broth! salt and pepper to taste simmer 10 minutes turn heat low add kale and cream to mixture. heat through and serve .
