Wiggins is overrated in the sense that people were calling him a once in a decade player long before he played a single NCAA game. They were even comparing him to Lebron James at one point. But because of a mediocre NCAA year, he couldnt fulfill the superstar hype quite like Jabari Parker. Wiggins is still a good player but not a superstar at this point aka hes no Lebron James. I have a feeling he will be a star like Paul Pierce in his prime BUT not like a superstar like Durant or James or Kobe in his prime. A lot of players show potential but come up short for various reasons...remember Vince Carter. He could of been in the same level as Kobe, Durant or Lebron James if he put in the work for defence and effort and played serious ALL THE TIME but he seemed to just play like it was him and his buddies at the YMCA for most of the time during his prime. If he had Kobe or Kevin Garnett mentality and seriousness, oh boy, Vince Carter would be considered a top5 player in the NBA THROUGHOUT his career.
