Wild cards for ITF womens tennis in Delhi NEW DELHI, JULY 17: The All India Tennis Association (AITA) has awarded the wild cards to Vaniya Dangwal, Simran Kaur Sethi, Sri Vaishnavi Peddi Reddy and Dhruthi Venugopal for the $10,000 ITF women’s tennis tournament to be held at the DLTA Complex here from July 21. The tournament is scheduled to feature the top Indian players, Natasha Palha, Rishika Sunkara, Shweta Rana, Nidhi Chilumula, Prerna Bhambri, Eetee Maheta, Bhuvana Kalva and the former Asian junior champion Rutuja Bhosale. The event will also have Olympian and a consistent champion at this level, Rushmi Chakravarthi. The top two Indian women, the 285th ranked Ankita Raina and the 348th ranked Prarthana Thombare have kept themselves busy in bigger tournaments abroad. Katherine Ip of Hong Kong, Abbie Myers of Australia, Kanami Tsuji of Japan, Han Sung-Hee and Kim Dabin of Korea will be some of the foreigners competing in the tournament.
