Wild horse behavior is so fascinating to watch and to try to figure out. In this sequence, a yearling colt blocks his band stallion from a new mare and clacks his teeth at him. He was quite possessive of her, but still clacked his teeth which is a submissive move towards the stallion. The behavior was repeated quite a few times while I watched.
