Wilgewandel Holidayfarm Pioneers and Teambuilding program Pioneering the difference where difference is needed - Petrus JS Vermaak We at Wilgewandel holiday Farm are forming a platform to help educate the leaders of today and tomorrow by means of cultural and natural heritage. (“Walk in the footsteps of your forefathers”) A team of well-trained facilitators will motivate the group to enhance each individual’s self-awareness and self esteem. This will help them to be better citizens in a multi-racial and religious society like South Africa and also to make the correct choices in life as to academics, sport, careers and relationships. ( Primary and High schools program) We need to start gaining hope with the youth of our country, for they form the foundation of our rainbow soul. They need to be led and educated, so they can lead us to a better tomorrow. ( Corporate program) It is also imperative that our corporate employees be led into preparing the way for a new pioneering thought to secure a better future for South Africa. ( Agape program ) The same is applicable in our Christian Community. We need true Christian pioneers who can lead us into this new pioneering philosophy What is this pioneering philosophy and what is a true Pioneer? The verb Pioneer has the following meaning:: - To innovate, introduce and to prepare a way; ( bring something new) - Take the lead or initiative in; participate in the development of; The new pioneering philosophy consists of 5 principles, namely faith, patience, respect, perseverance and courage. It is someone who acts with faith in himself or herself and who is displaying this faith towards their fellow learners/ church members/ colleagues at work. They have the ability to be patient and are showing calmness when under pressure to reach short term and long term goals. At all times they will know that to gain respect you need to show respect, no matter what culture, race or religion your fellow being belongs to. They believe success can only be reached by hard work so they will always persevere in reaching their goals. They stand up to challenges for they believe every problem is a challenge arising. Their positive outlook in life displays a lot of courage. It is a person who has the vision to lead his or her group with a lot of initiative and creativity so that the group can reach a much higher level of productivity and integrity. The true Pioneer is someone who can set an example of a true pioneering spirit to create synergy between group members of different religious and cultural backgrounds.
