Will I ever write a sequel to The Mummy, or Ramses the Damned? Im asked this all the time. Heres the answer. When this book was first written, I contemplated a series; but life and time intervened. Just three years ago I reread the novel and I do think that I would like to continue the story of Ramses some day, perhaps with a story set in the present time. But I have other books to write before I proceed. Ive always appreciated the enthusiasm of the readers for this book. I loved writing it, and found it to be more fun than some of my other efforts, but when I can return to it I dont know.
