Will the real Jesus please stand up.... There was 15 Jesuss before the most recent Jesus was ever born... They were all born of a virgin, they all turned water into wine, they all walked on water and healed the sick and raised the dead. Each one of the Jesuss were crucified and rose again on the third day. They all claimed to be the son of God, they all claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life. The bible is not the original text. God is incarnate in each one of us and there is no need of a mediator. God is love and if you know love you know God. No power in the sky above or in the earth below--indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ. The word Christ means an ideal type of humanity, which has been revealed to mankind for ages, through over 15 centuries of Jesuss. To claim that one particular religion is the truth and discard the others as being false clearly shows the ignorance of mankind, selfishness and hatefulness. Religion has been the cause of many wars that purpose to kill those who do not agree with their ideals, but Love has resulted many times in people giving up their own life to save others. John Lennon said it best in his song Imagine. Imagine Imagine theres no heaven Its easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Imagine theres no countries It isnt hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You may say Im a dreamer But Im not the only one I hope someday youll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say Im a dreamer But Im not the only one I hope someday youll join us And the world will live as one
