Will you help us? We cannot believe all the lost and founds we are receiving. We are happy to post, but it is heartbreaking. Will you {{{{{please share this on your page}}}} and hopefully it will cause some folks to tag and chip their animals. No one ever thinks it will happen to them….but it does, over and over and over. The miscommunications cause animals to be euthanized simply because the owner doesn’t know to get to Animal Services in time. A collar alone is pointless. (At least write your number on the collar with a sharpie) If they have a tag, the finder, AS, or we will contact the owner. If someone finds an animal, they often give it away and many times, that is not a good outcome. There is way too much senseless heartbreak. For the owner, for us and ESPECIALLY for the animal. It is so simple. PLEASE IDENTIFY YOUR ANIMALS! IT YOUR YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!! PS~Its wind season. Be sure to check your gates and fences.
